The Problem This Solves

You're rewriting discovery questions, intro emails, and fee positioning based on gut feel, never actually knowing which version closes more prospects. When your conversion rate dips, you can't tell if it's the market or your messaging, so you keep guessing instead of fixing the part of your pipeline that's leaking.

THE OUTCOME

You'll know within a handful of weeks which approach converts better with statistical confidence, so you stop debating wording in your head and commit to the version the numbers prove wins.

How It Works

Statistical significance is calculated using a two-proportion z-test. For each test, the conversion rate for each variant is computed (successes ÷ exposed). The pooled proportion is calculated across both variants, and the standard error of the difference is derived. The z-score is the absolute value of (p1 - p2) / SE. Significance thresholds: |z| < 1.28 = insufficient; ≥ 1.28 = suggestive (80%); ≥ 1.65 = likely significant (90%); ≥ 1.96 = statistically significant (95%). A minimum of 30+ exposures per variant is recommended for reliable results.
