The Problem This Solves
You've spent decades building your book, but if someone asked what your practice is worth today, you'd be guessing within a range wide enough to cost you years of income at the table. You don't know whether your owner dependency, revenue concentration, or retention rate is quietly discounting your multiple. When succession or an acquisition offer comes, that gap becomes real dollars.
✦ You'll see your practice value across four weighted methods benchmarked against 6,680 RIA firms, with the exact factors pulling your multiple up or down.

How It Works
This tool calculates practice value using a four-method weighted average: Revenue Multiple (30%), EBITDA Multiple (40%), Discounted Cash Flow (20%), and Client Value (10%). The revenue multiple baseline is 1.5×, adjusted for recurring revenue concentration, client retention rate, and practice tenure. EBITDA multiple baseline is 4.5×, adjusted for profit margin and owner dependency. DCF projects five-year cash flows at 5% growth with a terminal value of 3.5× and discount rates of 10–15%. All benchmarks are derived from Synseus analysis of SEC IAPD data across 6,680 registered RIA firms.
